That's a wrap on 2026!

The sneakers have stopped squeaking and the final buzzer has echoed out. The lights are officially down on the 56th Annual BRIT.
They say Bedford Road Collegiate is a small school, but for three days every January it becomes the heartbeat of Canadian high school basketball. From the first tip-off on Thursday to the Magrath Zeniths hoisting the trophy tonight, we have witnessed more than just games. We have witnessed the power of community.

To our fans: You are not just spectators. You are the energy that fuels every comeback and every buzzer-beater. Whether you were sitting court-side or watching our LiveStream from across the country, you are the reason this tradition lives on.
To the students and staff: While the world sees the highlights, we see the months of late nights and the tireless planning. We see the passion you pour into every detail. You turn a gym into a stage where memories are made for a lifetime.

To our volunteers: You are the unsung heroes. From the voices on the broadcast, to the friendly faces at the gates, you return year after year because you know that BRIT is more than a tournament. It is an experience that stays with these players forever.
To our sponsors and everyone who played a part: thank you for believing in the spirit of the game.

A huge thank you to Rogers for their incredible equipment and broadcasting support! Your partnership helped us bring the BRIT 56 experience to fans everywhere. We couldn’t have done it without you!

If you feel the pull to be part of this legacy as a volunteer, a sponsor, or a team ready to compete, our doors are always open. Reach out and join the family.

From the BRIT Tech Crew, thank you for sharing this journey with us. Safe travels and we will see you back at center court for BRIT 57!
